FINALLY! my first non-freeroll/non-satellite MTT win. even though it's spadeclub, still feels pretty good. crazy part is my opponent heads up lost his connection and I could've rushed the hands and finished him off that way, but i actually ran the clock a little cause i just didnt want to win that way. he came back with only 56k in chips to my 1.3 mil, then doubled up 3 times, each one with me ahead all-in preflop. finally got it on the 4th try, on the river. so finally I can say GG me, and mean it.

yes, although it sure didn't start that way.

went to a .25/.50 limit table w/$8 and dropped it all very quickly. Key hand was KK, flop KAJ, turn blank, river Q, and the J10 offsuit chased every street to get there. lol donkeygutshotchasesuckoutaments

then did a stt, went out 4th. never seen worse play. 3 different players at different times played offsuit kojak like aces. i ended up busting with AK vs. JJ.

but then as i often do when holdem mistreats me, i turned to my friend omaha. first a hi 6-handed stt, came in 2nd. got to heads up way too far behind and couldn't get there. last hand we both turned the same straight & each had flush draws, hers got there.

then did a $5 hi-lo stt and took it down for only my second 1st in about 2 months. ROI was up to about 45% at the high point, trying hard to get it back to 40 now. we'll see what tonight brings...

What a night. got smoked out of that rigged nyrambler tourney. 3 key hands - all spanked by QQ. first was one w/ace on the flop against mr. prophet. then tried to make a move on rambler w/a10 against his ladies, then the KO w/AK against pikachu's QQ that unnecessarily and brutally made quads.

well, very bad night got better thanks to a little insomnia.

took down a $2 2-table turbo SNG, then won back $10 on a .05/.10 NL table when AA actually held up!!! scary though, one caller preflop and flop came 678, i bet 3/4 pot and got raised, i was definitely worried about set or straight but went with it and villain showed JJ. ship it!

So finally after weeks of ridiculous beats and unending frustration, I won a $5 STT tuesday night. I thought, alright, good, the slump is over, now things can start getting back to normal.

Then I played again on wed. nite. and I have to say, the slump apparently is not over.

first came a donkoff, then came a suckout.

#2 was $5 STT - out 5th. 99 late, raise pre & get 2 callers, flop 843, about as good a flop as you can ask for with 99. goes check - bet 1/6 pot, I shove, checker calls and shows 33 for the sick 2-outer. gg me. again.

#1 out when flopped set of 8s vs. flopped nut flush

#2 out KK < A6 sooooooooooted allin preflop

#3 out QQ < A10 offsuit after big reraise pf and flopped 2 aces

#4 o/8 - raise pre w/AcKcK4, one caller, flop Q27, bet get called, turn 7, bet and villain shoves, i'm actually figuring him for QQ or a 7 now but lots of outs to chop and i have a lot invested so i call, he does have the QQ so he flopped the 2-outer and the river misses my 500 low outs and i'm out. again. after a sick suckout. every time.
