so after being on vacation for a week and not playing for couple days after getting back, i got back on the FT horse today. did 2 $5 sngs, took 2nd in one against ridiculous luckbox, no cash in the other
did $2 rebuy, in for $10. i was final table bubbleboy, for a whopping $1 profit, and this joke is how it happened after I played damn near perfect poker throughout...

the slide continues, sickly
well first there was the rambler series. lost decent size pot when i flopped top pair and LJ called me on flop & turn with 2nd pair & hit trips on river. nice catch. actually had some luck when i caught runnner-runner to bust a shorty. then pick up QQ, flop ace and lose big pot. KK flop ace and have to get away from it. then bust when i raise utg w/KQ, get reraised by LP, it's limit so i have to call, flop Q-high and raiser has AA obv.
then did a sng, here was the crucial hand, which also summarizes how i've been running since getting my acct to high point of $210...
excuse me while i vomit. so unbelievably sick.

now this is just getting ridiculous
so other than winning one 6-handed $5 omaha sng, i have not had a SINGLE cash since pulling off the daily double double-cash. i have been a combination of unbelievably card dead, coolered to death, sucked out all over, and some bad plays on my part. my roll is down from 210 to 140. today's big ones - in omaha i screwed up when i turned quads and didnt let my opponent hang himself, and he ended up busting me when he called my sizable preflop raise w/9956 rainbow, flop 789. genius. gg me
then did $2 1r/1a. built good stack early, then down around 45 players or so it started crumbling - couldnt hit a flop, couldnt catch a draw - nothing. last hand - i raise 3x w/AJ. board runs out 8-9-10-7-J. what does the moron have? QJ offsuit of course. then while i still had the table open, next hand somebody hit a K on the turn w/K8 against shorty allin w/a2 and the clown that busted me got on this guy for being a lucky mf'er. i went BALLISTIC on the shitbag. of course he threw out all 3 classic donkey lines/excuses - 1. well i have your chips, 2. its only $2, 3. let's play HU. i'm outranking the schmuck by 50% on opr so i prob should've taken him up on it but whatever, i cant do that because the reality is the worse someone is, the more they beat me, that's just a fact of my life.
i have got to get this shit turned around, and quick.
next up was the .10 rebuy - my bustout was shoving for 8xBB w/a9 and the bb called with the unbeatable 6-4 soooooooooooted and of course ran out the flush. so fkng disgustingly sick. I will never even begin to be able to imagine the thought processes of these idiots making plays like that.
excuse me while i go jump off another bridge.

bent over by full tilt all day long
$2 180-man. doubled up on the first hand when i shoved w/kk and of course got called by a8 off and magically no ace. held steady, then set the perfect trap to chip up...
absolutely amazing. idiot falls hook line & sinker, and i get fukd.
finally went for the doubleup here, perfect flop, then fukd again...
love open-limping Q4 offsuit obv
Did a $4 token sng, built up good stack early, then donked it off horribly. no sad stories on this one, i played like ass and blew it, finished 4th.
then the $2 rebuy, had good stack for a while, called shorty allin w/a10 and couldnt hit against his QQ, then my AJ got mini-reraised and whiffed flop, and with blinds flying, ended up allin w/ak against ak and 88, nothing for me
on to the early double...
busted out of B early. misplayed a hand where i put opponent on busted draw and called down with bottom pair, then ran JJ into QQ pf obv.
then in A just could not get anything going at all, got very short near bubble and couldnt even find a spot to shove. finally folded to me otb w/J5 sooooted so i shove and major asshole in sb instacalls with a4 off, flop j53, turn blank, river 2 @#$)#@$_!@)$@#_)#!_$@#)$#_@$)_#@
last was $5 stud/8 tourney. this was i think the single unluckiest i've ever been in a tourney. i've had 1 or 2 ridiculously unlucky hands, but this tourney, start to finish, was just the most continuously god-awful luck i've had in one tourney. pretty much every monster draw didnt get there, and got nailed by several 1 or 2 outers against me. my luck in this was so bad that i made the final table, and didn't cash. yep, paid 7 spots, i finished 8th, cause of course i had to make my stand with a 7 low on 4th st when villain had 5 low. of course he caught his low, and paired his ace, while i caught nothing, and bubbled. what a freakin joke.
so after my double cash bonus the other night i was back up all the way to $210, now back down to $171. so incredibly freaking frustrating

double cash
Well after taking down the rambler event the other night and making final tables in 2 $2 rebuy tourneys this week, my confidence is running good, so decided to take a shot at both ends of the daily double for the first time.
very excited to see my cards on hand 1 of the A tourney, but the results made it seem like it was going to be a quick night:
Folding there made me want to puke, but I knew it was what I had to do. I probably should've check-called the river instead of leading out, but once i got pushed in, I knew the chances I was ahead were slim to none, and even though I'd be giving up more than half my stack on the first hand, I felt like I had to try to at least give myself a chance to recover rather than just say screw it and bust.
sure enough, I did recover. i recovered quite well actually, not only cashing but building up a pretty decent stack. At the same time I managed to cash in B also, even though I was relatively card-dead. I just kinda hung around, picked some spots to chip up a bit, and made it through. Busted 91st in B when I ran KQ into A10 and KQ, then 88 into JJ.
Thought I could make a deep run in A, until this:
I thought about whether or not I needed to stack off here, but I dont see how I couldnt. AK shows up here a huge amount of the time to make this a +EV play imo. tough cooler.
But it ended up being a little more than $50 profit for the night with the 2 cashes and $37 bonus for double cash. not bad at all.

terrible day then recovery
bad morning, busted out everywhere, dropped about $30.
then went for $2 rebuy & actually finished 6th. pissed though cause there was another baby stack & 5th would've been $13 more. I open shoved 9-10 soooooted otb & sb woke up w/QQ. gg me :(
went on to $2 freezeout, busted 83rd, 88 flopped set against my KK.
3 big losing hands today - AQ to AJ, AQ to QJ and KK to 88. gotta love it.

another day, another 2-outer
$8 4-table sng for FTOPS #1, winner gets seat, 3 other spots get money. won couple big pots early, which gave me big enough stack to survive the card-deadedness that followed. eventually got to ft & blinds were skyrocketing, but just couldnt find a good spot to get my money in.
finally, got this...
ho hum, i'm so used to it.
